HOW TO BOOK: You are requested to notify us two months in advance of your trekking & tours in Nepal. The information should include the dates of arrival in, and departure from Nepal; your choice of trek; time available; nationality; and passport number. A deposit of 25% of the trek cost should also be sent to us along with the reservation request by registered air mail or by fax. If your tour involves domestic flights in Nepal, we shall need 3 months advance notice for booking the trek.

CANCELLATION : In case, cancellation of any trek already confirmed by us is sought for, 50 percent of the amount deposited will be deducted to meet the expenses incurred in making reservations. If the cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to the start of the trek, no refund will be made.
POSTPONEMENT OR DELAY: Internal flights may be delayed, cancelled, or postponed for some reason. If a trek to any particular area is not operative because of non-availability of aircraft, bad weather, or any reason beyond our control, YETI MOUNTAINEERING & TREKKING (P) LTD.,shall modify or alter the trek to other places. We shall try to ensure that the alternate trek is comparable in standard to the originally booked one.

TOURIST VISA: Nepalese Embassy or a consulate abroad issues a one month visa. If you arrive in Kathmandu without a visa, you will receive it at the airport. We shall arrange to extend the visa for the period required for trekking. Foreigner who intends to visit Nepal must hold valid passport or any travel document equivalent to passport issued by the Govt. for visiting a foreign country prior to apply for visa.

a) Entry: No foreigner is entitled to enter into and stay in the Kingdom of Nepal without valid visa. Tourist entry visa can be obtained for the following duration from Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or other mission offices or immigration offices located on entry points in Nepal.

b) Chinese citizen are requested to apply in Nepalese Embassy or other Nepalese diplomatic missions as there is no provision of on arrival visa for them.

c) Visa Fee: Visa Fee required to obtain Tourist Visa from Nepalese diplomatic agencies and entry points:

BAGGAGE: Free baggage allowance on every trek is 15 kgs (33 pounds). Any excess will be charged at the rate of 60 cents a kilo per day. Cargo baggage will be charged at the rate of 60 cents a kilo in the domestic flight. In the Tea – house/lodge trek, Every Porter carry only 25 kg in their captioned trip.
