Ghorepani Ghandrung trek in Annapurna region initiates after your arrival in Kathmandu international airport followed by short domestic flight to scenic lake city Pokhara on upcoming day. On the same day we meet our Sherpa crew and drive to nayapul which is the starting point of the trek. Further we will be passing through beautiful forests and follow our trekking trails towards Ghorepani, Tadapani and beautiful Gurung village of Ghandrung. Our short Ghorepani Ghandrung trek leads us to Pothana, Phedi and fly back to Kathmandu which concludes our short and easy trek
Day 01: Drive to airport for the flight to Pokhara. Fly to Pokhara.Transfer and stay at hotel Base Camp Resort on BB Double Occupancy Basis
Day 02: Meet your Sherpa Crew in Pokhara. Commence trek for 6 days and drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) which takes one and a half hour Departure for trekking point at Nayapul (1037 m) (2-hour drive) by Van.walk half an hour and night stop at Birethanti in Local Lodge. Breakfast at Birethanti. You then begin your trek from Nayapul (1050m.)to Tikhedhunga (1577 m.) where we take Lunch via Birethanti (1065m.) which takes about four and half hours. The first part of your trek is comfortable, passing through numerous small villages and settlements.Afterward Hile – (1577 m), you ascend gently to the final destination of the day. Stay overnight in Ulleri (2070m.) at lodge. Trekking time 5/6 Hours.
Day 03: Breakfast at Ulleri. Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2675 m.) takes about 5 hours. Your trek begins with a steep ascent for the early 2 hours and then ascends gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti where we take Lunch , Magar villages. On the way, you see good views of Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail (6997m.), Huinchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) south. Your trail then becomes much easier passing through forest until descending gently to the final camp. Stay overnight in Ghorepani (2675 m.) at lodge.
Day 04: Early in morning visit Poon Hill for Mountain views. Breakfast at Ghorapani. A day in Ghorapani to enjoy a rest day with great views. Early morning forty- five minute walk to the top of Poon Hill (3210m) for sunrise viewing of Annapurna, Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Dhaulgiri,Tukuche, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchre (Fishtail).Continue easy walking to Tatopani Where we can get Natural hot spring water for bath. Tatopani is famous to hot water bath.
Day 05: Continue easy walking to Tadapani (2650m) about 5-6 hours through thick forests. Lunch at Sikha. Night stop in Tadapani (2650m) at Lodge .
Day 06: Breakfast at Tadapani (2650m), Lunch at Ghandrung Village.Trek to Ghandruk (1951m) (5-6 hours). A traditional Gurung village of typical stone and slate roofed houses with excellent viewing of the Annapurna peaks.Night stop in Langdrung Village at Lodge. 6/7 hours
Day 07: Breakfast at Landrung, Lunch at Patana. Trek to Tolka/Pothana with continued good viewing of Annapurna and Manaslu peaks. visit Italian Camp and Night stop in Dhampus at Lodge. (6-7 hours).
Day 08: See the Mountain views and Breakfast at Dhampus. Lunch at Dhampus Phedi. Trek to Dhampus Phedi and drive (1/2 hour) back to Pokhara for the night, transfer to Pokhara by Van ¾ Hours Stay at hotel Base Camp Resort on BB Double Occupancy Basis.
